I get how the show was meant to show how hard it is to be a teen mom, which I thought was great in the I Was Once A Polite Well Mannered Young Lady Then I Became A Bartender shirt. It seems like it got away from that now and may be sending mixed messages. Now they have nice homes, big expensive cars, shit ton of make up, hair extensions, different men in and out ( for some of the girls) make up businesses, hair products, clothing lines and book deals. Which is great for them but what about all the other girls from 16 and pregnant? What about how it is for girls who arent in the spot light getting all those deals because of Mtv?

But with this new franchise starting, I feel like they have totally lost sight of what the original purpose was. Just the name of this new group of girls makes young pregnancy sound fun and cool.
