My mother and grandmother taught me how to cook and I Teach Because I Love Your Kids T- shirt. My uncles taught me how to change my tire. Skills I taught my son. I took home economics. Those classes was taught in high school. By then I had basic life skills. I am a teacher. It’s not my responsibility to teach children basic life skills. Parents PARENT. That should be a mandatory class, Parenting 101. Before you get your drivers license you have to pass a parenting class. Just my thoughts.

It would be good for them to teach homec…cooking, sewing, 4-H, and I Teach Because I Love Your Kids T- shirt. But, it’s not for parents to neglect their responsibilities. Get off your phones, tablets, and computers. Forget your clubs, etc. These are all things that distract you from what is important. Your children, are only going to be little, for a short time. Be a family again. If, you don’t do it now, you’re going to realize it too late. You’ll discover, that you and your kids have very little in common.

Why do people keep taking about parents? Of course parents teach their kids how to cook, but you spend the I Teach Because I Love Your Kids T- shirtof your day in school. That’s where these classes evolved, and there was nothing wrong with that. If they are taught how to work with their hands at school, then reinforced at home by helping dad fix cars and mow lawns, and helping mom in the kitchen, it’s enriching for the person. Btw, I’m an *old* millennial, 36, and I still had these classes in JHS
