Empress was our first pig and a unique challenge. We found that she had advanced cancer in her abdomen, which is expected in older pigs. Though is rarely experienced by most vets due to the fact that most pigs are seen purely as produce. It is somewhat comforting for her to have been with Neva in her last moments and our favourite vet Jennie who knows Neva and her ultimate desire to keep our residents healthy and thriving, our first vet to care and keep it real.
