WWE Adam Cole Gold Gold Bay Bay shirt
My own “unbiased” opinion, ( if there is such a thing as an unbiased opinion) favours Hagler slightly- largely due to the intense competition in the MW division during the ‘WWE Adam Cole Gold Gold Bay Bay shirt. He ruled at a time which was the Golden era for the middleweight division & undoubtedly faced some of the stiffest competition ever. Not that B-Hop didn’t face his fair share of elite opposition too but I think Hagler’s opponents were on average tougher. Also the manner of Hagler’s victories ( on average) were slightly more dominant, whereas Hopkins was a more crafty operator.

Best WWE Adam Cole Gold Gold Bay Bay shirt
You don’t EARN the WWE Adam Cole Gold Gold Bay Bay shirt, “ the Executioner”, for nothing. There aren’t too many historical boxers that can take out Oscar De La Hoya with the vaunted “liver shot” & B-Hop did it in fine style back in 2004. So as far as precision power is concerned, i’m going with B-Hop. On the outside, I favour Hagler, particularly with his legendary right jab. Both guys were as hard as nails but Hagler was slightly tougher- in fact he may have been the toughest boxer in history ( along with Jake LaMotta). In terms of workrate & volume of punches, both guys are great & it is virtually a dead heat. As far as footwork is concerned, I think B-Hop was slightly more precise & cagier & could ghost into a dominant position more easily than Hagler. In terms of guerilla warfare ( when the going gets really tough), I give Hagler the edge. That guy would literally keep swinging “until all the heads were gone”. In terms of ring IQ ( & defense), I think B-Hop was marginally the more intelligent boxer, although Hagler was more versatile.
