How does a politician like Harris go from casually suggesting one of her own Woman Im a Bookaholic on the road to recovery just Kidding Im on the road to the Library shirt candidates has racist tendencies to fist bumping a Republican who plans to challenge her electoral legitimacy? It’s theatre. It isn’t real. And Kamala told us so. “It was a debate”. I’d never have said those things about Joe in literally any other venue. “It was a de
One of my first Woman Im a Bookaholic on the road to recovery just Kidding Im on the road to the Library shirt was wondering why am I me and not someone else? And that questioning has stuck. I’ve always felt the pull of a relentlessly analytic mind that tirelessly searches for meanings and connections contained in ideas and events that seem ordinary and uncomplicated to others. My appetite for fundamental knowledge of ethics, epistemology and metaphysics is never sated; I can only choose how deep down the rabbit-hole I wish to go at any given moment. My ruminations on what we are, what is possible to know, how to know it, and whether this can give us knowledge of how to live well, have delivered me some stunning intellectual vistas and have improved my life for the better. Sharing my findings in a positive way helps me to connect with people. Driven as I am by a craving for synthetic knowledge, I’ve learned to set the philosophical urge to work data-gathering and developing solutions for the obstacles and goals that I have in my life.

She had one prior C-section when very young, and this had been a healthy second pregnancy. Within minutes of presenting to the ED, she spontaneously delivered a baby with pieces of her shattered uterus and started bleeding out buckets of blood. Her baby was rushed to NICU and she was rushed to surgery where she needed over 100 units of packed red blood cells over the course of 24 hrs, exhausting all our local blood banks, even after rolling in the cell-saver machine typically used in orthopedic surgery to recycle/save a patient’s own blood. It took surgeons hours to close all the bleeding, highly vascular, areas where the placenta adhered. She required resection of bowels, etc. That the surgeons worked tirelessly in what for most would’ve been a lost cause is a testament to our wonderful MD’s. It was their fierce determination combined with hours of painstakingly finite work along with the pure artistry of their craft that allowed her to survive that initial rupture and loss of blood.
He’s violating very basic societal Woman Im a Bookaholic on the road to recovery just Kidding Im on the road to the Library shirt , one of the signs of a toxic or dangerous personality. He’s probably a wife-beater, or at least potentially violent if he feels such a strong need to know what’s going on that he would come over every time you put the tarp up. That tells me he’s watching you – the peeping Tom kind of watching. Otherwise, how would he know? What is he watching? You can also choose not to answer him at all, but say, “It really makes me uncomfortable and angry when you interrupt my privacy. What I do in the privacy of my own home is none of your business.” If I love and care about you, and I think you need to face some facts you are seeming to ignore, I’m going to approach the conversation in a way I know you can appreciate. I won’t just slam the facts in your face to make you see reality. I will most likely bring the conversation around to the point so that you recognize it and admit it yourself, rather than me having to tell you. If the conversation goes well, I’ll either learn that you already know you’re avoiding reality on purpose, or you’ll come to the conclusion on your own that you need to change things without me pointing it out to you. If I’m just being antagonizing, I won’t care about your feelings. I’ll just flat out state the problem and not follow it up with any feedback – constructive or otherwise. I’ll be blunt, harsh and to the point. How you react is your problem, not mine. Most likely, as soon as I say whatever I wish to say, I’ll walk away and leave you to it.
