Schitt_s Creek David wait wait I have an attitude no really who knew shirt
i’m also in the entertainment industry and the state of things is abysmally depressing. South Korea is barely twice the Schitt_s Creek David wait wait I have an attitude no really who knew shirt of Canada, but their cultural impact is easily 10x that of Canada’s, probably more, sane with every developed country of a comparable size. Our inferiority complex and the idea that “if they were really good they wouldn’t be here” has crippled our entire cultural landscape.God I feel you 100%. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve poured weeks of my life into projects only for the other parties to get cold feet when they realize it takes work to produce anything of value. “Forget the dream, is there an easier way to just do and MVP? Okay let’s do it the easy way… you know what, now that we’re doing the easy way it’s not really the same.. hey I’ve been thinking lately about how I want to spend my time..” Happens every single goddamn time. I heard this for the 100th and final time about a month ago- I booked my ticket to the U.S., I’m out of here.

I moved back here in late 2019 (worse time, I know) from Schitt_s Creek David wait wait I have an attitude no really who knew shirt thinking about Canada back in 2015 when I moved out. I didn’t know the job market got so bad, housing becoming unaffordable, and living expense just atrocious. After all the Covid passes, I’m seriously thinking of moving abroad.Canada is fourth country I live in (different ones in Europe before) and I can tell you that I like to say you can’t decide you want to be European or American, so you just combine worst from both. American style corporationism without American style big market and choice, with European taxation without European safety nets. Painfully average, that’s probably my summary. some people have messaged me, so let me add a bit. Don’t just buy into Canada bad, Europe good, it’s not that simple. I do find Canada average, but that means things won’t suddenly be better if you move to, for example, Europe – if you can even treat Europe as one place, it’s so many different countries and sometimes inside countries you have vastly different laws and taxes.Knowing what I know now I wouldn’t move to Canada back then. But if I’m here already I don’t think it makes sense to move back – ie the difference is so small it doesn’t excuse move across Atlantic again. Your mileage will vary of course, and it’s extremely important to travel and get your own experiences.
