Rabbit things I do in my spare time shirt
Is democracy really the best way to run a country? I do agree that every citizen deserves a say, but at the Rabbit things I do in my spare time shirt time… what if the majority of the country are stupid? I’m sorry to say, but the US seems to be a perfect example. That’s not necessarily an insult to you, you could be 1 of 159 million people who are the minority (clever). In the end, even if 159m out of 320m people are super geniuses, they’d still be ruled by the stupid and the leaders elected by the stupid because of democracy, no? (Perfect example was trump’s administration)

Well, it’s not a “true” democracy even when you elect congressional representatives. You’re delegating the task of making legislative decisions to someone who presumably will make intelligent decisions in your best interests on your behalf. And when we elect a president that authority is delegated all the way down through agency bureaucrats. There’s no way I would trust every law and policy to be voted on by everyone.
I personally think laws and policies should be evidence-based and incorporate expert and Rabbit things I do in my spare time shirt (meaning constituent) feedback. But I also think the way things are run now is very pay-to-play, and the haves get say over the have-nots. That sort of disproportionate influence is a major fault in our government.
