Tonight is the I’m Going To Steal Their Christmas Grinch Shirts in my hometown with my family, and tomorrow will be the first Christmas morning I don’t wake up there with them either. I know it’s part of growing up, part of life, and everyone is gonna go through it, so I’m definitely not seekin’ sympathy. It’s just a Sunday night and the Pagans got their party holiday stolen and retrofitted to please the ever changing majority. But you go through 22 years of watching The Grinch and Year Without a Santa Claus (the two staples of the Fischer household) that when the 23rd year hits and none of the little things that made Christmas your Christmas are there, the whole world kinda feels upside down.
