I flew a lot when I was a kid late 70s-80s. Trans Atlantic flights, some Pan Am. I remember spiral staircases to lounges and we weren’t even first class, and people smoking on planes with the Top Colorful Melting Skull Halloween Kids Art Graphic shirt in each arm rest, very good food, more room in your seat and the cabin people actually could roam about just because, now it’s such a hassle to leave your seat, they are fond memories actually.

My dad booked a flight out of Tehran to London in 78 to go to a funeral. We were advised to get to the Top Colorful Melting Skull Halloween Kids Art Graphic shirt hours early as Pan Am regularly just bumped people with no warning, which they did that day. Can someone from that time tell me whether this was really the flying experience. Was this just reserved for firsts class passengers on select liners.
