Stella Reinbeer Christmas sweater

When Stella was effectively gagged by Pennywell Farm under the Stella Reinbeer Christmas sweater of legal action after the death of her two majestic Reindeer whilst in their sole care the story came to me as a photojournalist. Pennywell then pushed legals at my newsdesk to attempt to kill the story. The cost of potential legal defense rendered the story worthless so it wasn’t cost effective and it effectively gagged that too. We posted pictures and video on mine and Stellas The Scilly Reindeer facebook page along with a few of Stella’s own thoughts on the loss of her beloved animals.

Pennywell’s over zealous attempts at gagging people’s freedom of speech resulted in a Stella Reinbeer Christmas sweater of us posting to Facebook. Today, just 30 something hours after posting we crashed through the 1 Million Viewers mark as seen on our page stats attached. I think now our point has been made to Pennywell. Never, ever, ever threaten freedom of speech in 2015 to a loving owner of two dead reindeer and a photojournalist. I am sure the debate will rumble on and from what I can tell bar 4 trolls it’s been very insightful but our point has been made.

Throughout all the million views not a pound has been donated I am aware of to protect Reindeer’s which I find sad but we chose not to monetize this Stella Reinbeer Christmas sweater for concern of riding it for profit.
