The only pokemon movie that is new that is coming out this year is detective pikachu.

To be perfectly honest, I found the Premium Pokemon art Detective Pikachu shirt. I liked how they CGI’d the Pokémon to life, but the flow of the story and the battle scenes? Trash. I literally cringed upon seeing Gengar. I mean seriously? But overall, I’d rate this movie a 6/10. It was good, but it never reached my expectations. Also, since when did Mewtwo had the power to merge souls?

I remember when sword and shield was first revealed my friend was disappointed with the reused assets. I didn’t mind cause I know there’s a ton of Premium Pokemon art Detective Pikachu shirt that had to be coded into the game and that would be a huge task. But the fact that they’re being cut from the game is highly disappointing and something I can’t defend. I’m still going to buy the game when it comes out. But with the lack of quality in these games lately this might be my last trip.
