I have shared a couple of possible names for this girl and a possible place of employment with the Bakersfield Police Dept and with I’m a simple woman I like FireFighter Coffee and Dog Paw shirt that were sent to me from people after seeing this post. I am waiting to hear back any information that they have and I will post updates as I receive them. I know this event touched a lot of people including myself and although I don’t like to post things of this nature, I felt that this type of behavior needed to be posted to at a minimum, at least bring awareness to others about these types of actions.

While riding bikes downtown on A and 20th street, we watched this awesome human being riding one of the I’m a simple woman I like FireFighter Coffee and Dog Paw shirt at about 15 MPH dragging this poor dog behind her by a leash. The dog was on its side and we watched it being drug at least 100 yards and there’s no telling how long she had been dragging it for before we saw her. You can see that its paws are all completely bloody. I was unable to get a good picture of the poor dogs side.

This dog shouldn’t be getting away with that kind of I’m a simple woman I like FireFighter Coffee and Dog Paw shirt. But I blame the owners for not socializing the dog to getting its nails clipped when it was a puppy, or to the breeders for breeding a dog with an atrocious temperament. Only time can tell before this dog bites, hopefully not a child, and has to be put to sleep.
