He made me polo shirts and dresses for my mom and my other sisters. He bought the materials not in a textile store but in the animal feeds dealer. My grandmother did not have one, but my mother had a singer sewing machine which my sister has now. I have 2 singer machines, old model and the I never dreamed I’d grow up to be a Crazy Grandma but here I am killing it Shirt which I bought 20 years ago. Still have them on my old and simple machine I stitched a lot of clothes, frocks for my daughters. and some for the house is whatever was needed in a home is pillow cases, cushion covers, curtains yes everything. Now I’m 66 and still have both the machines.
