I actually took care of an elderly couple just like I mis the days when homework was just coloring shirt, except I was there to celebrate their 70 years together rather than 80. She repeated things just as this lady did, even as her husband described their lives together. And she too remembered some things, just like the woman in this video, she just couldn’t express it verbally, only with certain gestures (like the hand kiss the wife gave her husband).

This reminds me of I mis the days when homework was just coloring shirt, plus he was basically disabled for the last 30 years of their marriage no matter he would roll his wheelchair next to her chair and they would hold each other’s hands like that brand new feeling of new love. I only was witness to this the first 15 years of my marriage, really gives you something to aspire to have. Not , that I have a bad marriage, my husband would do anything for me I believe. But we don’t have what they had, I don’t think I know anyone personally that has or had. God bless them in heaven and I hope my father in law is taking her dancing!!!! Miss ya both Dottie and Dave

For me personally, this was a beautiful thing the family shared with us on Facebook. They’re showing us that love I mis the days when homework was just coloring shirt. They met and married at 20 and they’ve been married for 80 years. That is a blessing. She understands everything they’re saying to her she just can’t respond with words except hello. As you can see she’s responding to him she’s kissing his hand she knows who he is. And she laughs when it’s appropriate. We don’t know how long she has. All I know is that they have been blessed. I appreciate the family for sharing this with us. If nothing else look at it as a way to show you that anything’s possible with love.
