My Mom never gained any respect by hitting or spanking me I remember it just made me more angry and Captian America I want you to vaccinate your fucking kids shirt and I probably acted out more towards her because of it. My Dad on the other hand never did and I rarely if ever acted out. He would tell me to do something and I’d just do it not because I wanted to avoid being hit but because I respected him and he knew that if he lead by example I’d do the right thing.

I have two kids of Captian America I want you to vaccinate your fucking kids shirt and I’ve slipped up and let my frustrations of them not doing exactly what I said cloud my judgment and I regretfully spanked them. It takes a lot of self control to break that cycle of thinking hitting our kids into submission is okay. For me I don’t want to raise submissive children who just do what they are told or “else” but rather I strive to guide my children through life by setting the example and teaching them.
