First I will say I would rather eat with a dog than a person. Second, who would say mean things when G has such a sweet face (Lon not saying your face isn’t sweet just sayin). Third, people should respect privacy and also respect the space that the service animal is in. I will eventually just stay away from people because it is too aggravating. Animals are much better company.

It would be a great opportunity for the American Legion and the vfw to educate the communities they reside in about service dogs and 101 dogs days of school today shirt. Can you purchase videos or brochures on the rights of service dogs? I know Chamber and Rotary are always doing things within their community, how would someone going about getting them involved?

We have been having this discussion at our Wednesday night ladies club. One of the gals is going to be getting a service dog due to experiencing diabetic comas at night. She will be training with her service dog this week. One of her concerns is bringing the dog with her everywhere because she doesn’t have a visible injury. She is concerned about restaurants, hotels, airlines, and 101 dogs days of school today shirt. I have told her what I have learned from your postings here to try to ease her concerns.
