WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington Wizards are pulling out all the stops to honor their devoted fans on Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Michelob ULTRA, on Wednesday, April 9, at 7:00 p.m., when the Philadelphia 76ers visit Capital One Arena.
The night promises high-energy entertainment, including a halftime performance by hip-hop duo Ying Yang Twins, delivering hits like “Salt Shaker,” “Get Low,” “Say I Yi Yi,” and “Halftime.” Wizards’ mascot G-Wiz and the Wizards Entertainers will also take part in the festivities.
Fans can kick off the evening at the Fan Appreciation Night Block Party at District E Powered by Ticketmaster, starting at 5:00 p.m. Attendees will enjoy giveaways, a virtual reality activation, a custom trading card photo booth, free appetizers while supplies last, and drink specials at District Bites.
Every fan in attendance will take home a Wizards City Edition DMV t-shirt, and rising star Bilal Coulibaly will address the crowd before tip-off. The team will also present the 2024-25 Dr. E.B. Henderson Award, recognizing a player for outstanding community contributions.
Throughout the game, fans will have chances to win prizes, including a custom ULTRA golf bag and ULTRA Yeti Cooler, while guests in the ULTRA Courtside Lounge and ULTRA Club receive exclusive golf-themed swag. Attendees can even compete for $1,000,000 courtesy of Robinhood.
Adding to the fun, the Wizards’ “Bricken for Chicken” promotion gives fans a free Chick-fil-A sandwich if an opposing player misses two consecutive free throws in the second half. And as a thank-you for a season of support, all regular-priced Wizards merchandise will be 40% off at The Team Store and Capital One Arena retail locations.
Fan Appreciation Night promises a perfect blend of on-court action, live entertainment, and giveaways, making it a can’t-miss event for Wizards fans this season.
