Arizona Wildcats and Nike Ink Record-Breaking Apparel Deal
The University of Arizona has officially renewed its athletic apparel contract with Nike, kicking off a partnership that promises to elevate Wildcats gear both on and off the field. The new eight-year agreement, running through 2033, is valued at $44 million — that’s $5.5 million per year — and comes with a major boost in product allotment, more than doubling what Arizona previously received.
The current contract, set to expire on June 30, provided $23.3 million in Nike products over a decade. In recent years, the athletic department often had to cover an additional $2.5 million out of pocket to meet its needs — money that will now be freed up under the new deal to support revenue-sharing initiatives and other operational costs.
Industry insiders believe this is the largest apparel deal for a Nike school in the Big 12, signaling the Wildcats’ rising profile and the value of their fanbase. Starting with the 2025-26 athletic season, Arizona athletes and fans alike can expect to see more Nike gear, more often, and with bigger impact.
