Vintage 1995 Pittsburg Steelers NFL single stitch T shirt
One Christmas I really wanted a Big Bruiser wrecker set that hauled the Vintage 1995 Pittsburg Steelers NFL single stitch T shirt with the busted fender that you could repair. Iβm sure the reason I didnβt get that was my Mother didnβt want me to grow up to be a wrecker driver. So sometimes I didnβt get what I want, but most of the time I did. I remember the magic of waking up on Christmas morning, depicted so well in the movie. There were big dogs in my neighborhood that sometimes caused problems. Decorating the tree was a big event. I even experienced bullies. All of that is in the movie. I like other movies, some that I canβt really relate to, but thatβs why I think I enjoy A Christmas Story so much, as I can relate to it. I can relate to Christmas Vacation as well, as it recalls big family get-togethers from the 1950s and early 1960s, which I havenβt experienced in 50 years. Christmas movies I like without really being able to relate to them are Home Alone 1 & 2, White Christmas, and Miracle on 34th Street.
Yes it is and there is a reason for that. As of 2019 Mariah Carey has made over 60 million dollars off of that Vintage 1995 Pittsburg Steelers NFL single stitch T shirt. None of her other songs have made that kind of money but the reason is simple. Every year around Christmas time the song is re-released and continues to sell. Consider the fact that the song was released in 1994 so it has been on the charts every year for the past 25 years so is it any wonder that it is her biggest hit? That is the thing about Christmas songs, every year they have a chance to chart again. No regular release has as many chances to make money and sell records like a Christmas song does. Paul McCartney makes over $400,000 a Vintage 1995 Pittsburg Steelers NFL single stitch T shirtΒ from Wonderful Christmas song so it is one of his best selling songs ever and has also made him millions of dollars, although nowhere near to what Mariah has made for her song. Perhaps it holds up so well because it sounds like it was written in an older era, giving the illusion that itβs been popular for a very long time. Itβs only recently that Vintage 1995 Pittsburg Steelers NFL single stitch T shirtΒ became aware that this song wasnβt written in the 1960s, as Iβd always assumed. There are quite a few Christmas pop songs from the mid 20th century that I only became aware of when I was in my 20s. So when βAll I Want for Christmas Is Youβ came out in 1994, I must have thought it was just another one of those older Christmas pop songs I hadnβt been familiar with before.

I remember a Vintage 1995 Pittsburg Steelers NFL single stitch T shirt memoir β Beasts, Men, and Gods β by Ferdinand Ossendowski, a White Pole who fled the Bolshevik revolution through Siberia. He served in General Kolchakβs All-Russian Government before escaping through the Steppes north of Mongolia, and then participated in the government of that most notorious adventurer, the βMad Baronβ Ungern-Sternberg, who attempted to take over Mongolia to restore an imperial Khaganate as part of an imagined reactionary restoration of the Great Mongol, Chinese, and Russian monarchies in the interests of the βwarrior racesβ of Germans and Mongols (a Baltic German, he considered the old Russian ruling class to represent Germandom over and against Jews and Slavs). Some of the things – the acts of desperation and madness, in which he himself was no disinterested observer – Ossendowski relates are harrowing. But this part struck me as very much making a point about what peopleΒ thinkΒ of the Steppe peoples, and of what (German-trained) nationalists like Ungern-Sternberg did (and would do again) to the Mongols. And, other things:
When Christmas decorations are taken down varies from person to person in my experience in the United States. It seems to have a Vintage 1995 Pittsburg Steelers NFL single stitch T shirt tradition component, I do believe. It least that is what Iβm postulating. Many take everything down the day after Christmas. One who I lived with for 34 years wanted everything left up until into January. Some people literally have decorations up all year outside. So at least here (USA), where I have lived it varies. There is the church calendar with some people, like the person I once lived with, and they use that as a guide. Again, itβs a personal choice I do believe in a free country, so make up your own mind. You can vary it as well, depending upon if youβre enjoying the decorations still and the people you share your life with agree, more or less. If things are too structured they can lose significance to a person. Decorations are an art form, somewhat. In all art there are usually general guidelines, but to put your individual stamp on it tends to make it more valuable to yourself. It will also most likely prove more meaningful to others as well. That is my general thoughts on any kind of creative endeavor. Think of your decorations as such a thing and let your heart make some of the decisions. Happy Holidays.
