Thank You Big Ben Long Pittsburgh Steelers Sweatshirt
Now another thing I noticed whilst watching the film- many character traits were missing. In the first film Star-Lord, played by Chris Pratt, was funny, full of energy and jokes. In this film he seemed tired, and lacked the Thank You Big Ben Long Pittsburgh Steelers Sweatshirt that made his character such a standout in the Marvel library. He just seemed mopey and his jokes felt forced and he seemed really unhappy to be with the Guardians. Meanwhile Drax- he looked different in some respects and acted a little off. Yes he was still very litteral, but he seemed more light-hearted. One of my favourite things with Drax, is how annoyingly clueless he was and his dark side was something I also loved. Now he just seems too happy. Rocket- a character I have never really liked due to me thinking he is just actually a rude character, seemed even ruder- he hadnβt learnt anything from film one. Yonduβs, portrayed by Michael Rooker, voice also sounded a little off to begin with in the film, which I found odd. A few things were just off. The fun was gone.
Old World was Lunar. Most early civilisations have a Thank You Big Ben Long Pittsburgh Steelers Sweatshirt based calendar because it was so much easier to plot and make sense of time. It is not just China, even Scotland mesolithic era (8000 BC), in Hindu, in Islam and possibly most lost civilisations. Chinese have the lunar calendar since ancient times, and delineate as 60 years cycle. And used 12 years Zodiac and created very sophisticated system, numerology, astrological concepts around it. Almost all East Asia adopted Chinese approach, so they have in effect a common calendar and fortunately they followed China so it was so much easier for all to co-exist in synergy. Much like the whole of Europe logically followed Rome. Solar. A few like Japan after modernisation dropped lunar and adopted Western solar calendar, the Gregorian. Most Japanese donβt celebrate lunar new year anymore. For some traditional and religious festivals and rituals, I believe lunar calendar may still be referred, certainly for Buddhist rituals. Likewise Gregorian is the universal standard for the whole world and all in Asia to interact and run all the world affairs, work and business.

There were numerous other well known and lesser well known UK bands feeding the Thank You Big Ben Long Pittsburgh Steelers Sweatshirt the Deviants evolved into the Pink Fairies, the Faces, Sweet, Hawkwind, the Hammersmith Gorillas, the earlier Who & Kinks were also admired as well as Bowie & Roxy Music. The earliest Punk Groups had a myriad of their own influences too, the Ramones were influenced by Bubblegum, Glam rock, early 60s rock, NYC Girl Groups, Chuck Berry, the Ronnettes, the Sweet, the Dictators and a wide range of other influences but also very definitely by the Stooges. And the sound was just in the air, there’s a myriad of bands and one-off songs before 1976 like Death in Detroit, the Flamin Groovies that preempt this sound, 3 chords & attitude & the right equipment produced sound not a million miles from punk. Of the earliest punk bands the Ramones are arguably the most influential. Another early punk scene would develop outside NYC in LA which was very influenced by the UK punk scene and the Ramones.

In the late 80βs and Early 90βs βGrungeβ and Alt Rock were the Thank You Big Ben Long Pittsburgh Steelers Sweatshirt of Pop/ and bombastic βStadiumβ Rock, and especially the Glam Metal and βHairβ Metal. The pop rock/metal songs were a lot of βparty all nightβ commercial spandex wearing nonsense. Conversely, Grunge and Alt Rock sought to make the music more meaningful, personal and less showy. No guitar soloβs. Personal angst, not βdrink til you puke.β It was more about a personal message than the heaviness of the tunes. Mid to late 90βs: The βpost-grungeβ and heavier nu-metal music continued the more morose and βpersonal demonsβ themes, but incorporated more of the heavy sonic elements of early heavy metal. The themes included the personal tragedies, and now also the βurbanβ harshness of hip hop being brought in as topics, instead of βfaeries wear bootsβ flights of fancy, or βparty to you pukeβ themes from before. But the Heavier MUSIC was back. Much of Grunge and Alt. Rock had more of a βsinger /songwriter in a cafeβ rock vibe. Nu-metal upped the intensity and circled back to βheavy metalβ bits that had gotten lost in the mean time.
I followed the bear, from a distance, and finally found my pack; he had taken all the Thank You Big Ben Long Pittsburgh Steelers Sweatshirt out, and left the rest. That was fortunate, since it had most of my warm clothing within. The pack had two large gashes where he had clawed it open; I still own that pack, and I show it to people occasionally. Ten minutes later the bear returned. Everything had been hung up by then, but I still didnβt like him being back, looking around for something else to steal. By this point, I had gained courage (maybe because of how quickly he had left the last time); I picked up a big stick and, swinging it, I charged at him. He scampered away. Thinking about it afterwards, I realized I had been pretty stupid, and never in the subsequent decades of backpacking did I ever run after a bear again. My wife Rosemary did. She lost her temper (and this was decades later) when a bear stole her chocolate bars; she chased after it (this was at 2 am) but it outran her. She should not have done that, but losing her chocolate bars on the last night of a week-long backpack trip made her furious.
