Apparently, Spinel reminded her of Stranger Things Running up that hill cartoon art shirt when she was alive, and it played on emotions she hadnβt considered for decades, if not a couple of centuries. As thanks, she gave Spinny her Mask of Many Faces and remarked that βIt will be nice to affect the world again.β She escorted Spinel to a platform, and told her to stay safe going back up to the city. Later, when Spinel and Fahren sailed off from AlaghΓ΄n, DM had me roll a perception check: Spinny then saw a stunning Elven woman standing on the docks, waving at The Saint Marieβ¦ Who had a blanket tied around her shoulders. The two of them have been friends and pen pals since thenβSpinny even got Unthir to attend one of Taraelβs parties! She doesnβt realize that Unthir only went to the party to see Spinel, but the two of them got to dance, so thatβs all Spinny cares about. DM has gotten pretty wise to Spinnyβs antics by now, but every now and then Iβll still surprise him!
Itβs hard to make any βrealβ conclusions since the version Iβm going off of is the 2018 playtest and not the Stranger Things Running up that hill cartoon art shirt , which is yet to come out. Right now itβs definitely looking a bit rough, such that I hard-switched back to 5th edition when I realized it wasnβt going to work past a certain point. Some things about Pathfinder 2nd are great β the tactics and dynamics of physical combat have never felt better in any version of this that Iβve ever played. Some things areβ¦ less great. I donβt think they quite nailed a consistently rewarding level progression, I think the level scaling hampers and stifles the game a lot more than it helps, and spellcasters are just awful in the rules as written so far. Overall, though, the direction that Pathfinder 2 is going in captures the same kind of tactical depth that the original game was known for, but with a much cleaner presentation and much more potential fun during actual play, as opposed to the false depth that the original tended to emphasize during character sheet management. If the final release cleans up the rough edges nicely, it could become my game of preference.

So, the players are in jail. The Bard schtuped a Watch Lieutenantβs favorite barmaid, and he trumped up charges of Stranger Things Running up that hill cartoon art shirt conduct, lewd behavior, and assaulting a member of the watch. Never mind that it was the Lieutenant who was drunk, in plainclothes, and that he threw the first punch. The Players are destined for the noose in the morning. Itβs up to them to figure out how to get out of it. And hereβs the important thing. You need to be able to work with what your players give you. Because, if Iβm the GM, I honestly have no idea how theyβre going to get out of this. I just figure that they will.
Once upon a Stranger Things Running up that hill cartoon art shirt , there was a mom who’d never heard of this elf business, but had moved to CA from ND and had two, nearly three, kids, one of whom was a very precocious three year old. This mom had a mom, we’ll call her grandma, who had an Elf. Grandma gave the mom a rudimentary breakdown of the “Elf” game, and then gave a much more elaborate breakdown of it to the precocious three year old and his one year old brother. And so, the Elf game was begun. The rules in this household (as understood by the mom) were basically that the Elf would arrive on December 1. He’d hide somewhere in the house, watch the children all day, and report back to Santa each night, arriving again before the children awoke, hiding in a new spot, and waiting another day. On December 24, the elf would go home with Santa in his sleigh, his duty done til next year. The Elf wouldn’t be touched, or he’d turn into a doll again and no “extra special Elf gift” would be waiting with Santa’s gift that year. The children (the three year old) named their elf “Holly Jolly.” The game began and was easy, as the family lived with Grandma and Grandpa, who had a very large, very nice house with *very* high ceilings (and therefore lots of high hiding places for the elf, far from reach).
