We arrive and the owner of the house had organized the entire neighborhood into helping. Someone made hot chocolate and coffee. Some on had baked some brownies, someone had got several of the neighbors to start contacting all of the media, someone rolled a bunch of joints. Everyone was in a good mood. There were several thousand trees. We left around 3 AM, got a little sleep, and was back there at 8 AM. What a zoo. There were hundreds of people coming to get their free Christmas trees. The newspaper, radio and TV stations were there covering the free Christmas trees. This went on all day and there were still lots of trees left. We returned the next day, there were even bigger crowds. The media was there again. It was a good Christmas feel good story.

Delores, at ten weeks old, was quickly getting integrated into the Stand with Ukraine shirt of the flock. Once when the largest hen, Joan Crawford, pulled at Delores’s tail, he ran to me and flew into my arms – but when I scolded Joan and she stalked off to pout, Delores was brave enough to go back and try again. The pecking order shook out fairly easily within a couple days, with Delores towards the middle.

No! It’s much too early for Stand with Ukraine shirt . I want to enjoy this fall (although it seems that fall has decided not to visit us this year) and each holiday as it comes. One year, ages ago, I put up the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving weekend and by the time Christmas came around, all the decorations were dusty and I was sick of looking at it..lol. That was a good lesson. Christmas, for me, is sparkling snow, pine trees (not maples turning gold and red) and a very special time, especially if you have family (cherish them because some day they will be gone). It’s a time of selflessness and love and that “Christmas spirit” which is incredible which takes hold of you.
