Space force take no prisoners! shirt
So instead I played in my unit with a small group of friends who also lived in the Space force take no prisoners! shirt. It was my first time playing D&D and that was true for everyone else who played except our DM. Well, where I was doing time was a giant complex with a Medium, Low and a Camp. By this time I was at the low. They already had the Creative Minds Program at the Medium. About 7 months into the Creative Minds Program being tested at the low they axed it over at the Medium and banned some people from playing D&D. The reason was that at the Medium they had the SOMP (Sex Offender Management Program) and apparently some of the inmates in that program were using D&D to doβ¦ inappropriate role playing. The people that ran the program also didnβt feel D&D was healthy for those people in treatment because of the fantasy elements and βescapismβ.
Prep is important but you donβt need to put that much time and effort into it. Improvisation is the Space force take no prisoners! shirt skill of a good DM. The better you can run with whatever is happening, the better youβll be as a DM. If you just wanted an on-the-rails campaign following a script closely, itβs better to play a video game instead. CRPGs are good at that (better than we can for sure). When people sitdown for tabletop RPG the improvisation and dynamic reactions is what theyβre coming for. Itβs what sets this hobby apart from video games, so make the best out of the medium by learning this skill and making your campaigns truly dynamic.

Zharukk. Zharukk is another example of Space force take no prisoners! shirtΒ eugenics experiments: Heβs a Tanarukk, but not of Baphomet like your standard Voloβs Takarukk*. Heβs a Grazzβt Tanarukk, which results in him looking almost half-human. He tells everyone heβs a Half-Orc and lets people assume the other half is human. Unfortunately, his sorcery powers awoke much later in his life, and therefore he was considered a disappointment to the tribe and was often denied opportunities to really tap into and train his demonic heritage. Heβs trained as a (Sea) Storm Herald Barbarian and now has a few levels in Storm Sorcerer. Despite being very Chaotic Evil and decidedly immoral himselfβhe knows the right thing, just doesnβt do it, he likes when people order him around to do good things. (My DM cackled when I gave him Zharukk βOh my god, mage, you made a moral sub!β The first assignment he and my Warlock went on, she forced him to stay back and help her with underwater rescues. Heβll never admit it, but heβs a bit happier for it.
