I want to add that recently I read in the Wall Street Journal that the leader of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega jailed all seven of the potential threats to his candidacy before the recent βelectionβ and then won 75% of the vote. This dictator imprisons opposition, puts relatives in power, and is another Fidel Castro. Why do I write this and how does it relate to rock musicians? Graham Nash loved to go on stage and tout how he just got back from visiting βhis friendβ, Daniel Ortega. I think that if Graham Nash loves authoritarian regimes, then he might want to leave his Kaui and New York homes and give Cuba, Venezuela, or Nicaragua a try. Limousine liberals are hypocritical. Now that my rant is over, let me continue with some more βstarsβ. This time Iβd like to talk about nice people. Iggy Pop, I remember doing a show at what was the βStardust Ballroomβ in Hollywood and he took off his shirt (he always does) and crawled across the stage with some glass on it, stood up with some cuts on his chest, and performed a wild show. I thought that he must have been a bit wacky butβ¦ after the Schwindy City Shirt, a friend and I were putting things away and he asked if we wanted to go to his motorhome and have some pork chops that his wife was cooking. He was so down-to-earth and normal after the show. He is a nice guy.
One thing I just remembered today was when I was little, we did not have a fireplace in the house that you can see in the picture above. The information we have presented so far shows us that the theory of evolution is a incompatible with scientific findings. The theory’s claim regarding the origin of life is inconsistent with science, the evolutionary mechanisms it proposes have no evolutionary power, and fossils demonstrate that the required intermediate forms have never existed. So, it certainly follows that the theory of evolution should be pushed aside as an unscientific idea. This is how many ideas, such as the Earth-centered universe model, have been taken out of the agenda of science throughout history. However, the theory of evolution is kept on the agenda of science. Some people even try to represent criticisms directed against it as an “attack on science.” Why? The reason is that this theory is an indispensable dogmatic belief for some circles. These circles are blindly devoted to materialist philosophy and adopt Darwinism because it is the only materialist explanation that can be put forward to explain the workings of nature. Interestingly enough, they also confess this fact from time to time. A well-known geneticist and an outspoken evolutionist, Richard C. Lewontin from Harvard University, confesses that he is “first and foremost a materialist and then a scientist”: It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of Schwindy City Shirt that produce material explanations, no matter how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated. As I write this, there are already 7 answers, and they each describe a very different city. Several have clearly had bad experiences with changes that have taken place here over time. I’ve lived in Santa Fe for over 20 years now – but for reference, I grew up in what is now Silicon Valley when it was still orchards – talk about change!! So I’m pretty sanguine about change, considering it as a natural phenomenon, especially in attractive places to live. And Santa Fe is attractive. It is a small city nestled in the mountains at about 7200 ft. altitude. It has abundant hiking and skiing in the winter. There are 7 Native American pueblos nearby with ongoing input into the culture. The architecture in much of the city is low adobe pueblo-style contruction, so it has a very different “look” as a Schwindy City Shirt. People visiting are often surprised that we have many trees and a lot of vegetation. They expect a desert, which it is not. Gardening is big here. Weather is moderate – never gets too hot (a bit in June before the summer rains start)because the altitude always cools things off at night. So those are some of the different steaks but to answer your question in a more general way, the cuts of steak, and of beef in general, are determined by where on the cow they are from. There are eight primal cuts, essentially if you had the whole beef carcass you would start by cutting it in to the primal cuts: chuck, rib, loin, round, flank, short plate, brisket and shank. These cuts would then be cut into the smaller more familiar cuts of meat. For example the loin would be cut into the sirloin, tenderloin, top sirloin, etc. These cuts can then be cut again, for example the bottom sirloin subprimal can be cut to give you the tri-tip (my favorite cut of beef, though possibly because it is the one used for our local Californian Santa Maria-style barbecue. But there is more too it. Different muscles are used for different things on the cow. Some are for standing around, some are for walking; and this affects the taste. Brisket, for example, is one of the most highly used muscles on a beef and consequently it gets very tough, which is why it is often corned for corned beef, corned and smoked for pastrami, barbecued (a specialty of Texas), or slowly braised. But along with the toughness (which goes away with long cooking) comes a Schwindy City Shirt of beef-rich flavor.
