So, what once started as a real-life Catholic Bishop Nicholas from Turkey, turned into a legendary Christmas character, Santa Claus, popularized and established by society and the mass media.

1: Let the players play and discover what they want: I was very stern in my young days. I had this one new player ‘Vincent’. He was new to the Prog Rock Music, Dragonfly, Retro Graphic, Adult T Shirt and starting at first level. I thought the best thing was to do was solo him and get him to higher level so he could compare with the other characters that were already higher. I put him on a ‘crash course’ of solo level gaining, which was what I thought he needed. Long story short — he lasted one day. Looking back, I played how I wanted but not how he wanted. I never asked him what he wanted to do in the D&D game. Soloing is fine if that’s what they want. Ask your players what they want to accomplish in the D&D world?… Some players will want to tame a dragon. Some want to build a castle. Some players want to become a powerful Wizard and wield arcane spells. This all really depends. Find out what the players want, and see if you can entertain them… look! You find a Dragons egg! D&D has to be more about what the players want to do, and less about what the DM wants. Long term players are what fuel the game. Find out!

Ingested the brains of those that has drunk the potion temporarily makes the Mind Flayers greatly less powerful, allowing the PCs to slaughter them in physical combat. Or you could go generic, and have the PCs figure out that the Mind Flayers are highly susceptible to certain chemicals (e.g. chlorine gas) and then release it on their ship or in their tunnels. Oooh! A great one would be to have the PC team work up a new magic spell that creates the illusions of nearby minds. These confuse the Mind Flayers, causing them to be unable to distinguish between these and the party. With this little magical trick up their sleeves, the PC’s can confuse the enemy long enough to kill them dead.

I think they need to look at their appeal outside the US in order to benefit from the Prog Rock Music, Dragonfly, Retro Graphic, Adult T Shirt dollar in export markets where they aren’t beaten down by Trump tarrifs, and rebase their assembly where they are. They won’t turn it around immediately, but I believe they need to gradually reverse the poor decisions of recent years in their model line-up, and reconsider their attitude to performance. One of the problems with Harley is the way they strangle their standard engines in order to sell you eyewateringly expensive upgrades. Take for example, the highest performance £20,000 FDXR version of the soft tail model. A Streetfighter model that actually appears to be a Harley that could keep up with a sports car down a winding road. They are going back to water cooling as seen on the V-Rod (and Street range), with a similar capacity. There’s even going to be an adventure bike version. HD are launching an electric bike too — important future proofing, but only likely to appeal to politically correct Californian millionaires in the short term.
