Great acting, build up, story, cinematography, production, and we all know the ending. Shamalamadingdong’s career has definitely been more miss than hit, but he knocked it out of the park with this one. It’s a movie that has several scenes that stick with you, and as a horror, it’s genuinely creepy. It has incredible, but less talked about scenes, like Official My Mask Is My Costume Covid Pumpkin O Latern Funny Halloween Sweater Shirt gets trapped in the closet, only to come out with scratches. Him mistaking a ghost for his mom in the kitchen. The freakin’ opening scene with Donnie Wahlberg. So many things to praise. The acting is top notch, especially Toni Collette. The movie is just about as perfect as you can get in my opinion.

But Laurie in therapy, and accidentally finding out she’s Michael’s sister, I thought was a good progression of the character.And the cast does great. Brad Dourif’s scene when he finds his daughter dead is way heavier and more emotional than anything you usually see in a slasher flick.And I love the party scene, just cause it reminds me of some of my favorite parties.
