The beach was patrolled offshore by a bunyip (an aquatic monster). They heard its cries and made their saving throws. For a bit of colour I told them they saw it breaching a MLB Atlanta Braves 038 Only Thing I Love More Than Being Grandpa Shirt of hundred feet offshore. Unwilling to engage the creature in its native element, they started planning. They wanted to use missile weapons. I pointed out that it would be hard to hit the creature when it was underwater. The tiger’s master had half a dozen raw steaks. Yes, they were on his character sheet. Got to feed the tiger. The party bard decided to use Mage Hand to float one of the steaks over the water to encourage the bunyip to breach again. Sod it, I thought. They want this creature. Let them have it.
Stating the obvious this is why Tashaβs has completely reworked summoning spells and animal companions as well as the Artificer class and a MLB Atlanta Braves 038 Only Thing I Love More Than Being Grandpa Shirt thatβs been significantly enough reworked as to be a viable class rather than something incredibly weak. It is, of course, also why Tashaβs has the βletβs see what happens if we remove racial ability modifiersβ options (which Iβm not going to discuss further because itβs three paragraphs total and a very optional rule that generates heated discussion) – they are pushing at the limits of the system. And for me second wave supplements are generally far far more interesting than first wave because they come in from other angles.

The Bloodbinder tribe. The Bloodbinders are the MLB Atlanta Braves 038 Only Thing I Love More Than Being Grandpa ShirtΒ of Orc tribe that make other Orc tribes deeply fucking uncomfortable. It would not be incorrect to call the entire tribe a self-imposed eugenics experiment with the goal to lessen the divine pull of Gruumsh on their population. Theyβre big on literacy (these guys use Dethek in the same applications an Illithid uses Qualith: On freaking everything.), they actively intermingle with non-Orcsβincluding/especially demonsβand theyβre opportunistic about stealing magical children to raise in the tribe. Oh. Right. They really love magic. Everyone in the tribe is trained in magic the way that traditional Orc tribes train everyone in combat. They consort heavily with demons, in particular those with Grazzβt and Orcus (minor ones include Yeenoghu, Juiblex, and Zuggtmoy). A couple of them fraternize with elves. More than a couple of them are undead, and at least one is a Lich. Orc tribes donβt usually get along anyway, but any sensible Orc will spit on the ground when they hear the name βBloodbinderβ. (Incidentally, Faustus did exactly that when he met the below two NPCs!) The common refrain is that a Bloodbinderβs brain is a cacophonous mess of waning Orc gods and demons all vying for control. Itβs pretty accurate.
βNight of the Meekβ is Christmas Eve. Henry Corwin, a down-and-out ne’er-do-well, dressed in a MLB Atlanta Braves 038 Only Thing I Love More Than Being Grandpa Shirt, worn-out Santa Claus suit, has just spent his last few dollars on a sandwich and six drinks at the neighborhood bar. While Bruce, the bartender, is on the phone, he sees Corwin reaching for the bottle; Bruce throws him out. Corwin arrives for his seasonal job as a department store Santa, an hour late and obviously drunk. When customers complain, Dundee, the manager, fires him and orders him off the premises. Corwin says that he drinks because he lives in a “dirty rooming house on a street filled with hungry kids and shabby people” for whom he is incapable of fulfilling his desired role as Santa. He declares that if he had just one wish granted him on Christmas Eve, he’d “like to see the meek inherit the earth”. Still in his outfit, he returns to the bar but is refused re-entry by Bruce. Stumbling into an alley, he hears sleigh bells. A cat knocks down a large burlap bag full of empty cans; but when he trips over it, it is now filled with gift-wrapped packages. As he starts giving them away, he realizes that the bag is somehow producing any item that is asked for. Overjoyed at his sudden ability to fulfill dreams, Corwin proceeds to hand out presents to passing children and then to derelict men attending Christmas Eve service at Sister Florence’s “Delancey Street Mission House”. Irritated by the disruption and outraged by Corwin’s offer of a new dress, Sister Florence hurries outside to fetch Officer Flaherty, who arrests Corwin for stealing the presents from his former place of employment. At the police station, Dundee reaches into the garbage bag to display some of the purportedly stolen goods, but instead finds the empty cans and the cat.
