Mexicali Magic Burrito Republic Shirt
So I’ve sorta been doing that for a few years by now. My old Reddit account had a Mexicali Magic Burrito Republic Shirt male user name as I mainly used it in video game related subs. I mostly stopped using it about 3 years ago. My current account is I say more neutral to fem leaning and mostly used in small subs (<10K users) but in larger subs that I used to visit on my older account, there definitely has been a change in how people interact with me. I used to comment far more frequently in subs like r/AmItheAsshole but mostly stopped doing that because despite my style of arguing (wild, rambly, not all that coherent sometimes) not changing, I get attacked for my opinions far more often now, with far more downvotes on average. Similar situation when I create posts (again I'm not a master poster but mediocre posts of mine would never be attacked as extremely on my old account). Note: I'm trans which becomes obvious when u take a Mexicali Magic Burrito Republic Shirt at my account so my experience might not be anywhere close to representative

Maybe I should have specified “this is an Mexicali Magic Burrito Republic Shirt -in-cheek example of how some irresponsible people use misrepresented statistics to manipulate their audience.” I thought rolling with the structure of the joke was more important than absolute precision. But I’m new to Reddit, so I guess I miscalculated. Ha. Besides, if you want to be serious about it, all your arguments hinge on an analysis passing through a pool of skeptical and diligent gatekeepers before being presented as fact. In today’s political environment, that’s. . . not what’s happening. People can look at the most gobsmackingly obviously wrongheaded numbers and only see evidence that supports their preconceived opinions. No one looks too hard at “facts” that feel true. Perhaps I should have said, “This shit is why it’s so easy for people to lie to themselves with statistics.” And this is a problem in academic circles too! There’s a whole wave of people highlighting the systemic biases in academic publishing. P-hacking, non-dissemination of negative results, the dearth of confirmation studies due to prestige chasing, the fact that so many high profile articles can’t be confirmed when someone does bother to try, etc. The Mexicali Magic Burrito Republic Shirt Tower isn’t free of those willing to massage the numbers into giving the desired impression to a cursory observer. I know we need to defend the integrity of the Mexicali Magic Burrito Republic Shirt process in this era of willful and malicious ignorance, but refusing to acknowledge the motes in our own eyes ain’t the Mexicali Magic Burrito Republic Shirt to go about it, folks.
