McDonalds saweetie crew shirt is very true, medicaid/medicare (the old people version) will go through their financial history and see if they did this, and they will put the kids in a very shit situation of either selling the asset and giving the proceeds to the parent to cover costs, or so they don’t get chucked out the nursing home. What gets covered gets bumped by the value of the asset. This includes gifting the house, putting the house in an estate, selling the house and gifting the money, etc.And those who play around do usually get hit with fraud charges, and they are extremely nasty charges. If you know family who is getting old, go to an estate lawyer. It’s very easy to do the wrong thing and end up loosing a majority of what they thought would get passed down. Medicaid/Medicare will take everything before they begin covering costs.
A few other McDonalds saweetie crew shirt to bear in mind if you’re planning to visit: there have been issues with thefts, drug related crimes (methamphetamine is a problem), and, on occasion, racially charged assaults. That’s not to say that you’re in for a stereotype inner-city mugging experience, but this is not exactly tourist country. Also, be respectful of the land. Do not, under any circumstances, litter, steal mementos, or behave in an entitled manner. It will not go over well. If you go, go to learn. There are some spectacular agriculture and aquaculture projects, recreating the farming, hunting, and fishing of a culture nearly entirely lost to colonial depredations. There are people who will enthusiastically tell you about the many cultivars of taro, banana, sugar cane, etc. that are growing in their terraces. There are marvels of ancient engineering in the form of giant fish ponds, intricate rings of interlocked stones encircling great segments of ocean, luring in young fish and trapping them for harvest as they become big and fat. If you approach these things open to learning, the experience can be incredibly rewarding, but if you’re expecting a tiki-torch luau, go to a different island.

I kind of agree with you in one sense, OP. If some macho man makes a point to be like, “Oh, you found scary? I was laughing at it the whole time”! Then yeah, fuck that dude, he’s just putting the movie and the listener down for no real good reason. That bothers me as well. But then there is another way to “laugh at horror”. I love McDonalds saweetie crew shirt, personally. I think campiness in movies is the most honest a story can get. When I watch a campy movie, I feel the human touches all over it. It stops feeling like a production, like a product, like an elaborate lie, and starts feeling like something made by real people. Humans fuck up. We make mistakes. When the veil is sort of lifted on a movie through genuine (not faked) campiness, I feel a closer connection to that movie. It’s not a matter of laughing it, at that point. It becomes laughing it. I don’t enjoy the whole “let’s make fun of the hard work that tons of people put into making this thing!” That feels lazy and, frankly, insulting. But when you laugh with it, even if it wasn’t trying to make you laugh, that’s a different story.I saw the new Conjuring movie with my buddy the other day.
Then in the McDonalds saweetie crew shirt, globalization (esp of labor) really took off. Germany was again rebuilding with the fall of the Berlin wall. What Germany did well, was protect their base labor force and manufacturing (the US outsourced). Additionally, Germany has an extremely strong union system (since so few have college degrees and are trained in trades of some sort). When the US was mostly a manufacturing and export powerhouse, future generations did well. When it shifted to debt fueled economy and domestic service sector, the possibility of doing better than previous generations died. Debt is the destroyer.Australia was never really an exporting manufacturer. Certainly nowhere near the scale of of the US or UK, so it’s not really a good comparison. Australia is too far from anywhere, has too high wages, and too low population to compete in manufacturing. In addition, Australia is actually very good in terms of income equality, particularly when compared to it’s very high income peers, and is the wealthiest country in the world in terms of median wealth. So we would appear to be doing something right.Primary production can’t really be outsourced. Manufacturing can and a lot of services can.
