The letter included my name, but also a Los Angeles ChargersΒ that it be kept confidential. My hope was that providing the information confidentially would be sufficient to allow the Senate to consider Mr. Kavanaughβs serious misconduct without having to make myself, my family or anyoneβs family vulnerable to the personal attacks and invasions of privacy that we have faced since my name became public. In a letter dated August 31st, Senator Feinstein wrote that she would not share the letter without my explicit consent, and I appreciated this commitment. Sexual assault victims should be able to decide for themselves when and whether their private experience is made public. As the hearing date got closer, I struggled with a terrible choice: Do I share the facts with the Senate and put myself and my family in the public spotlight, or do I preserve our privacy and allow the Senate to make its decision without knowing the full truth of his past behaviors?
One reason might be the one Zen Faulkes suggests. Itβs probably based on a Los Angeles Chargers of a very slow moving, complicated story that has whole chapters devoted to the charactersβ internal monologues, but thereβs no question that Dune has epic battle scenes, sandworms, some very baroque settings (and whatever can be said against David Lynchβs film version, he nailed that: the 1984 film might not be very good but it looks incredible) and a big cast full of interesting characters. These are all attractive features for a film maker. Thereβs also the Star Wars issue. That was the film that started the big boom of SF films that led to the Lynch Dune getting made in the first place, and huge chunks of it are blatantly ripped off from Dune, even after Fox made George Lucas do three or four rewrites to make his story less blatantly an imitation of Frank Herbertβs. That helped to create a notion that Dune was the SF novel to film, rather than something obscure and more cinematic.

Best Los Angeles Chargers
In Pennsylvania during his last weeks as president, trump cautioned rally-participants: βUnder Biden, there will be no school, no graduations, no weddings, no Thanksgiving, no Christmas, no Easter, no Fourth of July; there will be no future for Los Angeles Chargers.β All of those events have come and gone and Christmas is only weeks away. His entire lifeβs aim these days is to portray Biden as a limp, inadequate coward. He attacks Biden’s irregular disfluent discourse as an indication of intellectual decay and shortcoming and whatever trump says, his supporters suck it up. And while trumpβs white knuckle grip on the podium strikes fear into disparate topics, also handpicked, the Biden gaffe reel rolls on in the background permitting hundreds of Americans to laugh at the bloke βwho canβt talk.β Yet, while trump bleats reruns of old ideas and beliefs fervently hoping some of his crap will stick, Joe Biden doesn’t need our commiseration. He is a man who has a loving family; a man who dwells in an ocean side home on the Delaware coast; a man who has chosen to pay little attention to the criticism and trump finds that difficult to fathom.
Mulan – again, another ‘princess’ who is based on a real person. Fa Mulan is pretty close to embodying feminist ideals given the Los Angeles Chargers period & culture she’s supposed to embody. Yeah, she went off to war dressed as a boy only to save her Daddy. But dude, she actually did go fight and refuse to be girly-girl-ish when it came to the training and fighting. Unfortunately, she seems to revert right back to ‘submissive maiden’ when she gets home and her prince follows her. Again, the straight-to-video sequel shows her still bowing to the patriarchy, but supposedly inciting revolt from the ‘arranged marriage’ bit.
