In 1880s, a Civil War cartoonist by the It’s Just A Bunch Of Hocus Pocus Shirt Gift For Halloween of Thomas Nast drew this St. Nicholas character as an elf-like figure wearing a bishop’s robe in tan color and Norse huntsman’s animal skin. Eventually, Nast changed the color of St. Nicholas’ robe into red with white fur trim. By the 1930s, Coca-Cola Company (Coke) jumped on the St. Nicholas tradition during the Christmas season by releasing print advertisements of the character Santa Claus based on Nast’s elf figure, but “strict-looking”. Eventually, Coca-Cola hired an advertising agency to create a wholesome image of Santa Claus as a warm, friendly, pleasant, and plump human Santa Claus (no longer an elf), delivering and playing with toys, reading a letter while enjoying a Coke, and visiting children who stayed up to greet him. This was the Santa Claus character that gained popularity the world over. So, what once started as a real-life Catholic Bishop Nicholas from Turkey, turned into a legendary Christmas character, Santa Claus, popularized and established by society and the mass media.
It’s hard to make any “real” conclusions since the version I’m going off of is the 2018 playtest and not the It’s Just A Bunch Of Hocus Pocus Shirt Gift For Halloween , which is yet to come out. Right now it’s definitely looking a bit rough, such that I hard-switched back to 5th edition when I realized it wasn’t going to work past a certain point. Some things about Pathfinder 2nd are great — the tactics and dynamics of physical combat have never felt better in any version of this that I’ve ever played. Some things are… less great. I don’t think they quite nailed a consistently rewarding level progression, I think the level scaling hampers and stifles the game a lot more than it helps, and spellcasters are just awful in the rules as written so far. Overall, though, the direction that Pathfinder 2 is going in captures the same kind of tactical depth that the original game was known for, but with a much cleaner presentation and much more potential fun during actual play, as opposed to the false depth that the original tended to emphasize during character sheet management. If the final release cleans up the rough edges nicely, it could become my game of preference.

The door to the back room busts open, a It’s Just A Bunch Of Hocus Pocus Shirt Gift For Halloween of gang members with guns get ready to open fire on the party. The party’s own Agent tosses a grenade in and shuts the door on them, buying them a little time while the Technomancer finds a control console so she can hopefully remote-access the entertainment system and shut the DJ down. Not liking this one bit, Lady Alushinyrra shifts the music again. From this point forward they’re battling her directly, and she uses a combination of lasers and sonic blasts to assault their position. By this point the crowd finally shakes out of her spell and starts fleeing the club in a panic. The party finds they can’t do any substantial damage to Lady Alushinyrra herself owing to a shield system that’s in place on her DJ’s station — she’ll probably pulverize them with sound waves before they ever get that down, much less start denting her HP. They can deal with the laser lights, the speakers, and the other mechanisms she’s using to relay her attack spells at them throughout the club, and they can definitely keep the goons in the back room from rushing them, so they focus on that while the Technomancer hacks the club.
I was just starting to build my flock of chickens from the four I already had (one rooster, three hens) to a It’s Just A Bunch Of Hocus Pocus Shirt Gift For Halloween of ten. I bought six little two day old chicks from the local feed store – assured by the staff that all six would grow to be beautiful hens. Since I already had a rooster – and two roosters rarely get along – so wanted to be sure these were female. I named my chickens after dead movie stars (yes truly… don’t judge) but my Aunt Delores wanted one named after her, so I chose a Golden Phoenix chick and named her “Delores”. When Delores was eight weeks old, I began to have suspicions that she was edging towards a gender change. Delores was quite a bit larger than her step sisters, and was growing a more pronounced comb and longer tail feathers than the typical hen. However, denial is a powerful characteristic, and I tried to convince myself that Delores really WAS a hen and maybe she was just big boned.
