Dean gets to their motel and Sam’s dressed it all up, even though he spent much of the I AM SWAC SHIRT not wanting to celebrate. They share some jokes for the rest of the episode, clearly trying not to get teary-eyed or reminisce too much about their…well, mostly shitty lives. They share some presents, express some gratitude, drink some eggnog, and watch a game on TV. Smiling and enjoying each other’s company. I love this episode and it goes down as my favorite Christmas story because the writers did not hold back on making it bittersweet as fuck. These two poor sons of bitches have almost nothing at all – they’re sitting in a cheap motel, both their parents are dead, Dean is going to be dragged to Hell for eternity within the year, and the only reason they wake up in the morning to save other people is because they literally cannot do anything else now that they’ve been hunting for so long.
Spygate, 2007: New England Patriots get caught stealing signs from opponents` sidelines. This was actually not against the rules yet, so technically not cheating. They changed the I AM SWAC SHIRT after this to make it illegal. I won`t deny it`s a bit cheap (although you`re kidding me if you think the Patriots were the only team doing this), but not nearly as egregious as:Deflategate, 2014: During the AFC Championship Game, the New England Patriots were found to have several footballs in their arsenal that were below the legal minimum. Tom Brady had to testify before Congress and was suspended for four games the following season, despite the fact that the Colts, the team that Patriots beat in the game 45–7, noted that they didn`t lose because of the I AM SWAC SHIRT, and that the Colts had deflated footballs as well. For context, the weather was super icky that game, and it`s probable that both teams deflated the footballs to grip them better.

Best I AM SWAC SHIRT
I remember a I AM SWAC SHIRT memoir — Beasts, Men, and Gods — by Ferdinand Ossendowski, a White Pole who fled the Bolshevik revolution through Siberia. He served in General Kolchak’s All-Russian Government before escaping through the Steppes north of Mongolia, and then participated in the government of that most notorious adventurer, the “Mad Baron” Ungern-Sternberg, who attempted to take over Mongolia to restore an imperial Khaganate as part of an imagined reactionary restoration of the Great Mongol, Chinese, and Russian monarchies in the interests of the “warrior races” of Germans and Mongols (a Baltic German, he considered the old Russian ruling class to represent Germandom over and against Jews and Slavs). Some of the things – the acts of desperation and madness, in which he himself was no disinterested observer – Ossendowski relates are harrowing. But this part struck me as very much making a point about what people think of the Steppe peoples, and of what (German-trained) nationalists like Ungern-Sternberg did (and would do again) to the Mongols. And, other things:
In the United States, state capitals aren’t generally the I AM SWAC SHIRT or most populated cities. Take as an example California (Sacramento is the capital, not Los Angeles or San Francisco) or Illinois (Springfield is the capital, not Chicago) and you could go on with Texas, Florida, etc… even when it comes to the United States as a whole you would think New York City or Los Angeles should be the capital and not Washington D.C, but it goes deeper than that, the United States is not centralized in one city like it happens to France/Paris, UK/London, Germany/Berlin and so on. As to why New York City is considered the capital of the world, it has been called that for the past 60 years. It is the home of the United Nations, Wall Street, New York Stock Exchange, lots of billionaires, people from all over the world live in the city. It’s basically the financial powerhouse of the world although London has been following closely for the past few years. Other reasons to consider New York the capital of world would be fashion, music, entertainment, tourism, etc.
