Cute Chibi Art Galileo Galilei Unisex Sweatshirt
Saint Nicholas has no relation to Christmas in Russia. It had for a Cute Chibi Art Galileo Galilei Unisex Sweatshirt period in the late 19thβearly 20th century, but that was clearly a German/French/English influence. We have Ded Moroz (Grandpa Frost) and his granddaughter/assistant Snegurochka (Snow Girl, literally βSnowlassieβ), and they are the New Year characters. New Year is the only secular and non-ideological holiday in Russia, and the only truly universal one, although in its commercial streak it is similar to the Western Christmas in its current shape. Russian Orthodox Christmas is, in the last 100 years, a purely religious holiday, and due to the difference of the Gregorian calendar (official since 1918) and the Julian calendar that Russian Orthodox Church still uses in its defiance to 1917 revolutions, itβs not on December 24β25th but on January 6β7th.
1: Let the players play and discover what they want: I was very stern in my young days. I had this one new player βVincentβ. He was new to the Cute Chibi Art Galileo Galilei Unisex Sweatshirt and starting at first level. I thought the best thing was to do was solo him and get him to higher level so he could compare with the other characters that were already higher. I put him on a βcrash courseβ of solo level gaining, which was what I thought he needed. Long story short β he lasted one day. Looking back, I played how I wanted but not how he wanted. I never asked him what he wanted to do in the D&D game. Soloing is fine if thatβs what they want. Ask your players what they want to accomplish in the D&D world?β¦ Some players will want to tame a dragon. Some want to build a castle. Some players want to become a powerful Wizard and wield arcane spells. This all really depends. Find out what the players want, and see if you can entertain themβ¦ look! You find a Dragons egg! D&D has to be more about what the players want to do, and less about what the DM wants. Long term players are what fuel the game. Find out!

Overall, Goblins and Orcs are just people in my campaign. I donβt really treat them differently than I would Elves or Dwarves, I just acknowledge that a lot the Cute Chibi Art Galileo Galilei Unisex SweatshirtΒ twoβs cultural traditions arenβt as acceptable to humanoid settlements as the latter two cultures. The result of that is that more Goblins/Orcs end up assimilating and to greater degrees than their Elf/Dwarf counterparts. Someone like Emetta who was raised by a human parent in Laviguer is for all intents and purposes human, especially when you stand her next to someone like Azuch. However, most people looking on will only see two Orcs and treat them both accordingly. Like the Playerβs Handbook alludes with Tieflings: Even if youβre not born evil, prejudice and people always assuming the worst can certainly push you there. I use the Voloβs canon that Orcs feel the pull of Gruumsh, and I keep that in mind when I make an Orc NPC.Β ForΒ instance, FaustusΒ feelsΒ the pull of Gruumsh much harder than Azuch, but Azuch always listens to the Gruumsh βvoiceβ inside his head, while Faustus refuses. Conversely, Zharukk hears a lot more Grazzβt in his head than Gruumsh, but he listens to the latter far more often.
