The one which really *is* a continuity error, which not even I and the gals at Loose Canon can resolve, concerns the Corey Lajoie Really Good Race Car Driver Shirt flight to the Ministry at the end of OotP. At one point we’re told that it is 5pm. If you look at all the things which happen between this point and their mounting the Thestrals, it’s pretty much impossible to make this later scene be any later than 7:30pm. Then they take off *into the sunset*, and the fact that it really is sunset is emphasised. “They burst through the topmost branches of the trees and soared out into a blood-red sunset”, and not long afterwards “Twilight fell: the sky was turning to a light, dusky purple littered with tiny silver stars, and soon only the lights of Muggle towns gave them any clue of how far from the ground they were”. But here’s the thing. Hogwarts is meant to be in the Scottish Highlands, and this scene takes place in mid June. Even allowing for the fact that Hogwarts is surrounded by mountains, sunset wouldn’t be till about 10pm, and unless it was very overcast (which it isn’t, since they can see stars) it wouldn’t get very dark even after sunset.
I learned more of Corey Lajoie Really Good Race Car Driver Shirt and private thoughts than she had ever told my mom. My neighbor would talk of her life while I cleaned for her. I like dogs and our family had a poodle, but my Siamese cat was my constant companion as a child. The Christmas before our neighbor died she gave me these two statues as a Christmas gift. They had sat on her kitchen windowsill since she’d gotten them. She said they reminded her of herself as a girl with her dogs. I have kept these small china figures for many years. They have also sat on the kitchen window sill over my kitchen sink in many different houses over these many years. They remind me of her and of my childhood, too. Just knowing this eccentric old lady taught me much during my childhood.

June is when the first shipment of Corey Lajoie Really Good Race Car Driver Shirt and ribbon arrives. It is also warehouse clean out month. There are hundreds of warehouses for supplies and completed toys that need cleaned out and dusted. July is when the list is begun. Santa begins making the master list for that year. August is when cookie baking for the season begins. It is also when the food supplies for the coming winter are ordered. Everything from pantry items to elf beer(kinda like root beer) must be inventoried, to see what needs to be reordered and at what amount. September is the most dangerous month at the Pole. At about the 7th of Sept each year starts the reindeer RUT. Hundreds of elves get hurt each year because of overly aggressive reindeer bucks. Yeah breeding season! But it is important to keep the male FR(flying reindeer) away from the natural wild NFR (non flying reindeer) or else the new babies next spring would give away the exact location of the pole and elf village. October is when Santa and Mrs. Clause begin to decorate for the holidays. There is no time for that after the 1st of Nov. November the first letters arrive! This is also when Santa must have the 1st check of the list done by. 2D check is due before the end of the month. Reindeer test flights begin and try outs for the team. December is CRUNCH time! Santa is required to attend as many party invites and appearances as possible, hence the need for helpers. He also must finalize navigation and weather prediction models for Christmas eve. And of coarse there is Christmas eve deliveries.
Delores, at ten weeks old, was quickly getting integrated into the Corey Lajoie Really Good Race Car Driver Shirt of the flock. Because these six little chicks started out in an aquarium with a heat lamp in my study, then moved to a large hamster cage, then finally outside in a cage kept inside the barn, the grown chickens had all slowly acclimated to seeing Delores and his sisters. However, the first few times I put the babies in the open with the hens, I cautiously supervised the meeting. There was blustering and a little pushing by the big chickens – similar to what you might see on a junior high playground the first week of school – but nothing too severe. Once when the largest hen, Joan Crawford, pulled at Delores’s tail, he ran to me and flew into my arms – but when I scolded Joan and she stalked off to pout, Delores was brave enough to go back and try again. The pecking order shook out fairly easily within a couple days, with Delores towards the middle.
