Best Cat I feel like i should clean the house so im going to my garden shirt
Assuming perfect Cat I feel like i should clean the house so im going to my garden shirt , there would still be the issue of sound quality. It’s a bit harder to drive a short string (a string fretted at the 24 fret for example) to the same volume as an open string, and a lot of what people like about an acoustic is the sound quality it has. Shrinking the acoustic chamber of the guitar (due to the cutaways) may also affect volume and voicing negatively. Then there is the issue of ergonomics. My experience is that the highest frets are less used, even on electrics, and that the usage further reduces on an acoustic, even on one designed to accommodate access. The reason is that the distance between frets is so short the hand is all scrunched up so chords are hard to finger, leaving mainly single note playing (such as solos) which is rarer on an acoustic. Also as the strings generally are thicker on an acoustic, playing expressive single note runs with bends, etc, is harder to pull off, compounding the issue.
