What is the big deal about December 25th? According to most people oh it’s when Jesus was born, wrong. Others says similar things too, still wrong. Anybody who actually has studied the Boston Celtic Basketball T shirtt of Christmas can tell you, December 25th is the height of the Winter solstice. Proof of point, if Jesus was 33 1/2 years old when he was crucified. With Easter being the time of his Crucifixion & Resurrection. Basic math disproves the whole Jesus being born in December at all. In historical fact, the Winter solstice is just another time of year people would sacrifice their children to thier current βgod(s)β. The word Christmas comes from the Catholic church absorbing pagon holidays to attract new people from new areas. They’d originally been called having Christ Mas. Like Sunday Mas. Slovaks: Slovaks are obviously the closest nation to Czechs. They are our eastern neighbor, we shared a country with them for almost a Boston Celtic Basketball T shirtt , and our languages and customs are very similar and for foreigners virtually indistinguishable. You can see this in mentality, Easter and Christmas customs, folk costumes, folklore etc. Slovenians: Despite not sharing a border with Czechs are rather close culturally. I have some good Slovenian friends and I have to say they are basically indistinguishable from Czechs and Slovaksβ¦ they felt very comfortable in Czechia, and not really like foreigners. This is due to a common history of being Slavic nations under the Holy Roman Empire, and later under the Austrian Empire. Aka we both have a lot of Germanic influence. The Slovenian mentality, I would say, is very similar to the Czech one. Austrians: Czechs were ruled by the Austrians for centuries. Many Austrians: especially in Vienna and north eastern Austria have Czech surnames, and many Czechs have German surnames that are commonly found in Austria. This is because there was a lot of movement back and forth between nations. Austrian cuisine is very similar to Czech cuisine, and crossing the border into Austria from south Moravia you barely even notice a difference. Austrians Iβve encountered also tend to look more Central European than Western European like many Germans do.

I agree with the Boston Celtic Basketball T shirtt , Damron Corner, and demand that you name who these people are that are βagainst Christmas,β since I donβt know of anyone. Never saw or heard of any protests against Christmas, nor read any articles online or off. On your profile you tout yourself as βDropper of 100 ft. trees; not much else.β Itβs not clear to me if you spend your time dropping out of hundred-foot trees or if you are a lumberjack felling tall trees. Either way, I guess you donβt make much profit on Christmas trees. Possibly that eats away at your soul? I really canβt why else you would think anyone is against Christmas these days. Some Christians claim to be against the secularism and commercialism of Christmas. Their line is: Donβt take Christ out of Christmas. The problem with that is that these self-same Christians love Nativity Scenes, Angels, Shepherds, and other fancy stuff that that requires commercialism, i.e. stores where they can buy the stuff for their scenes and celebrations. Not to mention gift-giving. And they own the stores and businesses that sell this Christmasy stuff. So who, I ask, is against Christmas if it isnβt guys like you who canβt make a profit off it?
Recently a lot of fanatics have come up with barring everything and creating a Boston Celtic Basketball T shirtt propagated sense of identity. Leave behind festivals of non-Muslims, preachers have identified a set of festivals within the Muslim community itself and have found the liberty to brand anyone practicing it as βhell boundβ. Religion is something very personal. Whom I pray to, what I wear, which religious place I visit should govern absolutely nothing in my life. Factors like my social and income status should be completely isolated with my religion and belief and no one, no mortal human being has the authority to label me as a good Muslim or a bad Muslim – itβs completely between me and the One whom I pray to. However, elaborating, this also depends on what the term βcelebratesβ means in your question. If itβs in conflict to what Islam says, then Yes, undoubtedly itβs wrong. Practicing Muslims are not allowed to bow except during Namaz i.e. submit to the God – not even to Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) – one of the most revered figures in Abrahamic religion. So if a person bows w/o a prayer, itβs wrong and forbidden, even if the place is a Mosque or the reason is a festival within the Muslim community itself.
