The movie Hotel-Rwanda was produced to raise the awareness of the Biz Was Wrong Shirt against Tutsis, which happened in my country in 1994. The Rwandan genocide lasted about 100 days from 7th of April 1994 to 4th of July 1994. it was followed by a civil war and conflicts in different parts of the country near the borders with DRC. Rwanda was failed state, unstable and not a safe country from 1994 to 1997. There were some security issues at the border with DRC till 2000. From there, since President Kagame assumed presidency. Rwanda started to come together. Peace was restored for over 18 years now. The next challenge has been to work towards developing the country, from individual to the government level. For the past 24 years, Rwanda has gone from a failed state to a peacuful country with a functioning and progressive economy. From failed state ( 1994–1998), to an economic miracle ( 2000–2008), and a model for economic development ( 2008-today).

I came from a Biz Was Wrong Shirt family in Malacca, Malaysia & had the privilege of being invited by my neighbour, a respected Christian family a few weeks before Xmas to attend a community event at the British Commonwealth 28th Brigade Forces HQ in Terendak Camp, Malacca, Malaysia as an Xmas CSR (corporate social responsibility) community event. I was about 12 years young then in the late 60s. CSR was unheard then. There was so many activities that we had a mesmerising and amazing time with prizes & good food with souvenirs. The soldiers gave us an authentic interesting tour of the military stations, barracks & general depots, including the armoury vehicles & what appeared to be “little museums.” All the kids in attendance were so happy & thrilled to be accorded such VIP treatment. I bragged about it to my neighbours & school friends. Till this day, I remember the event & look upon Xmas as a time of love, giving, fun & adventure. My impressions of Christianity (I am a Sikh) stood high, ever since.

Oh Dear. Thats a big job. I have spend Christmas in maybe 20 different countries. And there are so many differences. Even in different regions of the Biz Was Wrong Shirt. The longest Christmas is celebrated in the Philippines, with street festivals and street marches, typical foods, drinks, footstalls and colorfull decorations allover, and it lasts from Dec 16 till January 7 Finland was very impressive. With everything covered in snow and lanterns all along the walkways between houses. The whole country smells of Glög, a red wine, spices combination. Decorations with Gingerbread figures, and lots of typical food. Christmas Eve is with family. next day is mutual visiting of friends and neighbours, and boxing day is going to clubs. Dont forget: 24 hours pitch dark. But on Christmas eve/night lots of Northern lights across the sky. Like it was ordered right above the midnight church.

We are concerned with the Archetypal Symbolism of “The Cycle of Growth” – which governs all growth processes. Astronomy/Astrology has existed for Biz Was Wrong Shirt of years. Around 3,000 BC human conscious awareness developed to recognise the Annual Cycle of the Sun. This enabled the development of an Annual Calendar for the sowing and reaping of crops. Before that the Monthly Cycles of the Moon were used to “tell time”. There was no reading and writing, so they had to use direct observation at sunrise every day to determine the position of the Sun relative to the background star constellations – that are also visible at this time of day. The human mind has the facility of “translating” random patterns of things like dots of light, and cloud formations, into pictures or images. So they saw Rams rutting in the fields at the time of Spring, and “saw the same picture” in the heavens – and called the Time “Aries the Ram”. This was therefore a Mnemonic “Memory System”. We can assume that this also gave rise to the thousands of stone circles that began to appear around the world at around the same time. It is known that they are aligned with annual positions of Sun and Moon – especially the Solstices and Equinoxes.

The Biz Was Wrong Shirt mention of December 25 as Jesus’ birthday comes from a mid-fourth-century Roman almanac that lists the death dates of various Christian bishops and martyrs. The first date listed, December 25, is marked: natus Christus in Betleem Judeae: “Christ was born in Bethlehem of Judea.” In about 400 C.E., Augustine of Hippo mentions a local dissident Christian group, the Donatists, who apparently kept Christmas festivals on December 25, but refused to celebrate the Epiphany on January 6, regarding it as an innovation. Since the Donatist group only emerged during the persecution under Diocletian in 312 C.E. and then remained stubbornly attached to the practices of that moment in time, they seem to represent an older North African Christian tradition. In the East, January 6 was at first not associated with the magi alone, but with the Christmas story as a whole.
