4th Of July Patriotic Fireworks Safety Third Shirt
I think it is a good move, but there are all these people bitching about another day off or not getting another day off due to the 4th Of July Patriotic Fireworks Safety Third Shirt federal holiday. That is all fine and dandy, but I want to share a bit of my experience.A good thing that will be used for evil ends, so basically the same as any democrat action. If you only warp the truth a little at a time your critics look evil but in a few decades you rule a world you drove mad.Everyone should call their local news and tell them to ask employers and members of Congress why it isn’t a paid holiday. It’s a meaningless symbolic gesture if everyone is forced to work and doesn’t get paid (like on MLK day).I was working as a private social services contractor for the state, I was working on veterans day, and really needed to get ahold of a child welfare case worker, DCS in our state. Well, the office told me it was not possible as they were off for veterans day. In my most professional passive aggresive voice I stated, “Well that is just high speed then, as a veteran I hope that they have a nice day off on my behalf while I attempt to do their job without their help!

Best 4th Of July Patriotic Fireworks Safety Third Shirt
I swear to god if my white sheltered uninformed supervisor starts talking this day off and I can’t because I’m mandated to work holidays… You can bet your ass I’m taking a 4th Of July Patriotic Fireworks Safety Third Shirt day every year from here on out. You can find someone to fill in because I’m not doing it. All my coworkers are black women, too so they won’t be doing it.I learned about this holiday anecdotally around the time I graduated high school in Louisiana, in the early 2000s. I didn’t know what parts I heard about the holiday were true or not. I’m really happy that it has gained more traction and more people know about it.I didn’t learn about the Tulsa Massacre until a couple of years ago. We have a long way to go to fill in all these gaps in our collective understanding of history. If y’all can recommend any good history books, I’d appreciate it.I might be a bit partial, but my little girl is a descendant of a first-generation American (mother’s side) and a family that’s fought through every single war since the Civil War (father’s side–Union, BTW.), and she just happens to have a Juneteenth birthday. I think this is the best thing ever.I might be a bit biased.
