It’s a little sad that I always approach a live-action remake of a popular book, comic, or animated feature with a bit of trepidation, but experience has taught me it is advisable to do so. There are times that I am pleasantly surprised, such as I was with the Best friends Eeyore and Grinch shirt of Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson. There are also production companies that strive to remain true to the original subject matter, which is why Marvel Studios manages to produce more good than bad in the superhero genre.

As a fan of the original, it’s obvious that an adult Christopher Robin was never a topic that A.A. Milne explored. That alone adds to my trepidation regarding this film, but the films Synopsys seems to pay homage to the core elements, philosophy, and theme of the original story and the Best friends Eeyore and Grinch shirt to agree with this assessment. One can only hope that this proves to be the case.

That said, every once in a while something comes along that gives me hope that maybe, just maybe, this time they will get it right.
