I haven’t seen the This Barbie needs a Lobotomy shirt you are talking about yet (I’m new on here), but if I did I’d be appalled! I’m what would be considered conventionally attractive, and I agree with you. There are other benefits that come with being attractive, and a lot of vitriol that you avoid. I know this because as a teen I had horrid acne. How I was treated then, compared to now is night and day. Even assuming being attractive gets you more unwanted attention from asshole men (which tends to be true), it certainly doesn’t eliminate it! I was creeped on by men since age 9, all the This Barbie needs a Lobotomy shirt through my awkward acne-filled teens so… Being harassed, stalked, pestered, or assaulted by men isn’t some compliment on a woman’s attractiveness.
I’m a guy with long hair (late 20s), and my dad regularly made fun of me as a kid for growing my hair out. I was a typical kid of the 00s and grew it into a shaggy skater mop, because that’s what I liked, and I hated getting haircuts because they made me feel insecure. He was the primary scout leader in my troop, and did it quite a few times in front of the other boys, my friends.Now, I regularly get compliments for how nice my long hair is. Dad hasn’t mentioned it in years because he knows he’s wrong. Still hasn’t ever apologized, though. Not sure he ever will. I love him, but our relationship is strained, probably permanently, because of this and many other toxic behaviors he perpetuated from his misogynist of a father.

I don’t know about the always on-side part, but the This Barbie needs a Lobotomy shirt punting has some logic to it. Every D is set up now to get the opposing team to 3rd and long and then sit on the first down markers. Every O has to drop 75% of it’s playbook and only use those plays designed to get X or more, whatever they need on 3rd and long. Similarly, on 4th and short most teams don’t usually go for it and are often too scared to open their whole play book so it’s regularly a run up the middle and see if our line can push theirs back 2 yards. I don’t know any KU stats, but what % of their drives end in scores, or cross the 50? I guess this is the, This Barbie needs a Lobotomy shirt
