He was going to propose to her before she was diagnosed with cancer and still decided to go through with Sonic Mule like it here Missouri shirt He loved her. I think it’s a very noble and brave thing for him to do. He could have walked away to “avoid the pain”, instead he helped her fight cancer until she couldn’t anymore.I’ve worked in Hospice for 14 years and we fond many people need these kinds of goodbyes as a type of closure. It’s also a grand last act of commitment on the caregivers side. As we sometimes say, “It’s not about the days in a life, it’s about the life in the days.”.Thank you for that strong response, having someone with experience in observing this is what this thread needs. From what I read, it seems like they were already getting married, they Soni c Mule like it here Missouri shirt moved up the date because of her health. At that point I think you’re traumatized either way. Either she died right before they were supposed to be married and he never got the chance to complete their wedding, or he married her right before she died. No good choices, really. You just have to go with the one you will regret the least. You are assuming that “normal” life will not get you to that stage. What are you gonna do instead? Play it “safe”? Avoid getting cancer? Avoid getting mentally destroyed by your next job? or boss? or wife?. The world is a virtual reality, does it really matter how one lives through it? Every human mind is different, your reality and your assessment of it has absolutely no bearing ( and frustratingly so) on anyone else’s thinking or living. So if someone wants to marry a dying person, maybe thats great for their mental health and life, to live in that bitter sweet universe.
I lost my beloved wife to cancer about two years ago, after 29 years of marriage.I don’t think that in this case the marriage itself did anything to make the situation worse with respect to his mental health. What makes your brain explode is the sense of loss and, before that, to have to witness a person you love living with an expiration date.I think he did a nice thing for his dying girlfriend and so ultimately a nice thing for himself because mourning can be full of regrets about what you did and even more about what you did not.
