I went back to school last year and have had 2 courses that required I buy access to material Official I got 99 sockets but a 10mm aint one shirt a sole source (one also written by the professor teaching the class). But because it isn’t done through the college, I can’t claim it under the Lifetime Learning credit on my tax return (used up the American Opportunity credit years ago). Shit like this should be illegal, especially when the person requiring you to use it directly profits. College textbooks are a scam.Ok, to all you Americans. Yes, your system sucks, it’s ridiculous. But this article is in the UK, about UK universities which are not as broken, or were not until now. Students at UK universities don’t pay for books, and we certainly don’t pay for grading. Wtf is that scam. The article is about the universities being charged more per book, which they then lend out to students for free.
