74 Bob Lilly drafted 1961 RD 1 13th overall signature shirt
My family has some large cast iron cookie molds that are approximately 150 years old. The 74 Bob Lilly drafted 1961 RD 1 13th overall signature shirt cookie recipe that comes with them is also at least that old, according to my grandmother. There used to be a set of 12, but my great grandmother divided them up between my grandfather and his 3 brothers. So we only have 3 of them (Edit: he wasn’t the oldest or the favorite, and they were divided up in the 1950’s). The still living relatives on his side of the family don’t know what happened to the rest, which is sad because I would absolutely buy them to keep them together if the rest of the family didn’t want them. My grandfather’s favorite cookie mold was of a little boy sitting on a chamber pot, because he thought it was funny. My grandfather’s been dead since 1994, so any chance we had of getting them back from his family is long gone.

The remaining 3 cooking molds that my grandmother has passed to me are of a 74 Bob Lilly drafted 1961 RD 1 13th overall signature shirt, a blue jay on a holly branch, and a pineapple. With the exception of this year, she always comes over to my house to make New Year’s cookies, even though she’ll be 96 in February. She says the cookie molds originally came from Germany, but they don’t have maker’s marks or anything that would lead me to find out exactly how old they are. I’ve found similar ones made of aluminum or tin from the 1920’s, but none that were cast iron or with these specific pictures.
