Good Ideas don’t require force shirt
There’s some great cinematic moments; seeing separate scenes of action spread out over hundreds of Good Ideas don’t require force shirt of battlefield, waiting eagerly at the bottom of a ladder hearing the cries and the bashing of weapons and shields above you, glancing up to see a poor soul, or two, sent tumbling off the wall. Then you get up there and you’re in the thick of it, stepping over the dead and the dying as the lay littered along your path, rushing through labyrinth corridors and/or streets, catching defenders in the midst of panic and cutting them down, or noting a dozen or so running towards you and you then legging it back to the top of the ladders, hoping a few more hundred of your mates have made it over recently.

Best Good Ideas don’t require force shirt
The lag is obviously (to me) related to the Good Ideas don’t require force shirt of soldiers having very individual thoughts about their immediate surroundings and their immediate safety. If all half of the AI has to do is stand a post and shoot arrows at other AI, who are just thinking in one great gestalt about simply marching into range of said archers to then stopping and just waiting there, then the frame rate barely drops. Likewise if the AI just needs to stand around and cheer, everything’s buttery smooth again.
